Finally got an actual person on the line at Entergy who could give me an estimate on my power being restored. 10pm, Sunday night. Lost power Wednesday. Yet, some people on my street still have power. I know they’re slammed, but **** Entergy. It’s 40 in my house.

Entergy really pissing me off ****.
- Matthew Wollenweber (@MWollenweber) reported
@skooks The effects of climate change. In a tribute to technical debt and cronyism, SWB ran their own power grid using a generator so old they had to fabricate their own parts. Moving to a modern power system should be much more resilient… tho I’m sure Entergy will try to prove me wrong
- Tim ™️ Sweeney (@QzCrystal) reported
@Entergy @EntergyLA I brought some giant *** gear for a pump down there a few months back.
- Stormbringer (@TXNative64) reported
So @Entergy decides to do an unannounced, planned outage at dinner time. Whoever made that decision is a damn clown.
- W.A.I.T. 🤚🏾 Why Am I Talking? 🤔 (@megandoesnola) reported
Drove my comment got cut off at the Entergy thing, because it was a good one! I mentioned having to choose between eating spoiled food or just not eating after losing your perishables while being without power.

Entergy: maintenance and security issues could cause customer to lose access
- Julianna Hodges (@stratosphynx) reported
Lights got disconnected for non payment of $220.04 from Entergy and we need to have power...
- Matt McBride (@Matthew67052126) reported
@skooks The idea is rather than @SWBNewOrleans using natural gas to run 6 inefficient boilers (which run turbine 4) 2 relatively inefficient turbines & 5 unreliable generators, the power comes from Entergy, which has more efficient generators.
- Laura George (@msladybug1103) reported
@Jessnj4554 @cmr4to @notcapnamerica This happen about 50 miles from me. I worked for Entergy for 30 years. Destroying the power grids impacts so much and they have to be repaired before power can go out (the grid can’t receive power from any other source either).
- Alyceea (@its_alyceea) reported
I am FUMING. Entergy did a scheduled outage today. Supposed to be from 1-7. It’s 7. It got pushed back to midnight. It’s ******* 30 degrees outside.
